New AIA Course Approval: Resinous Floor Coating Systems
KOSTER is pleased to announce that their new continuing education course, "Resinous Floor Coating Systems," has been approved by the AIA. This allows KOSTER the opportunity to educate architectural firms about resinous floor coating systems. Topics include: definition of resinous flooring, types of systems, methods for determining which system to specify, methods for substrate preparation, and methods for treating cracks and joints. This 1 hour PowerPoint presentation provides each AIA member 1 LU/HSW of continuing education credit.
"The American Institute of Architects (AIA) was created in 1857. Through education, government advocacy, community redevelopment, and public outreach activities, the AIA works toward a public environment that is responsive to the people it serves while representing the professional interests of America's architects. The AIA recognizes that continuing education in architecture is crucial to advancing and improving the profession. Architects need continuing education to maintain competency, to prepare for the future, to fulfill the continuing education requirements for AIA membership, and frequently to renew state licensure."
