Description: Volvo Dealer required an epoxy floor system for its service center, talk to many supplier and decided KÖSTER floor system with German standard. 180 sqm of concrete floor with many cracks and joints visible, and rather noticeable moister level as a big issue. Surface preparation started with cleaning the whole surface and following that the cracks and joints were thoroughly cleaned. KÖSTER VAP I 2000 mixed with KÖSTER TA, was use to form a paste like mix to fill all joints and cracks .The entire floor was shot blasted to achieve an SSPC-CSP3 profile. KÖSTER VAP I 2000 was them applied with 10, 15 mm thickness. In the next step KÖSTER MPE was applied at 150sqft/gl average, and back rolled and after drying the second layer was applied at 80sqft/gl. After one day, KÖSTER UTC was spread out with squeegee, and back rolled. The whole refurbishment took place in 4 days.
